Sunday keeps the Cider & Cheese Festival moving at Isle of Wight Steam Railway, with more than 30 ciders and a wide choice of cheeses available around Havenstreet station. Cat Skellington take the live-music slot, starting earlier than Saturday’s band. The combination works for a relaxed final day: choose a drink, build a cheese platter and settle near the performance, or add a steam-train journey to the visit.
The bars are open from 11am to 5pm on Sunday 13 September. Cat Skellington are advertised from 12.30pm to 3.30pm. Admission to the festival and station is free, while train rides require the usual operating-day ticket. The railway also lists event return fares from Wootton and Smallbrook. Check the timetable before choosing a train, as services do not run continuously until the festival bars close.
Compared with a formal food festival, this weekend leaves visitors free to arrive and browse without buying an entry ticket. Drinks, cheese and rail travel are paid for separately.
