The Freshwater Coffee House gives the west side of the island a simple, useful meeting point. It is the sort of place for coffee with a friend, a cake stop with children, or a quiet half-hour before heading towards the bay, Totland or the Downs.
Freshwater can be easy to pass through on the way somewhere else. This is one of the places that gives you a reason to stop and let the day have a little more texture.
