Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival brings decorated trees to churches, halls and other venues around Brighstone and its surrounding locations. The main festival runs from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 December, with free entry and donations welcome. You can choose a few displays for a short visit or spend more of the day moving between venues. It is a Christmas outing built around the work of local exhibitors and the places that host their trees.
The 2026 venue list includes St Mary's Church, the Methodist Church, Wilberforce Hall, the Reading Rooms, The Three Bishops, Mottistone Church and Isle of Wight Pearl. Check the festival venue programme before choosing your route, as individual displays have their own arrangements. The main festival's published hours are 10am to 5pm, with last entry at 4.30pm. Isle of Wight Pearl has an earlier last entry of 3pm. Some venues keep their trees on display beyond the main weekend, so use the relevant venue information for a later visit.
Village parking is limited, and you should allow time to walk between the Brighstone venues rather than expecting to park at each door. The organisers recommend the village car park and ask visitors to park considerately. Wear shoes that suit winter pavements and the church interiors, where lighting and uneven surfaces can need care. The event combines indoor displays with travel between sites, so bring a coat. For more occasions shaped by island organisations and volunteers, browse community events across the Isle of Wight.
