Cowes Fringe - Saturday

Cowes Fringe continues with a town-wide programme of music, theatre, comedy, DJ sets, and local and national performers.

Presented by Cowes Fringe

Saturday 23 May is the main day of Cowes Fringe, and the town's venues fill with a combination of the island audience and visitors who have come from the mainland for the weekend. Music across multiple stages, comedy, theatre, DJ sets, and the Cowes waterfront providing a backdrop that most festival sites pay significant amounts to approximate and cannot.

The Saturday programme at Cowes Fringe is the most varied of the three days, covering genres and formats from acoustic folk to high-energy pop acts, and moving between venues across the town through the evening. The maritime character of Cowes, the small streets behind the High Street, and the proximity of the Solent give the festival a physical rootedness that distinguishes it from a park-based event. Cowes is small enough that moving between venues on foot is genuinely practical.

Tickets vary by event. Full Saturday programme on the Cowes Fringe website. More music and arts events on the Isle of Wight across the spring calendar.
