Christmas at Goddards Weekend

Christmas at Goddards brings local craft stalls, live music and a children’s picture hunt to the Branstone brewery, with free entry across the weekend.

Christmas at Goddards Weekend gives you a free-entry festive outing at Goddards Brewery in Branstone. Local makers set out their stalls, musicians perform and younger visitors can take on a Christmas picture hunt. It is a useful plan when you want to do some gift shopping without making the whole day about a list, with something for the children to follow while the adults browse.

The craft fair features artisans, charities and small businesses, with cakes and sweet treats alongside jewellery, clothing and handmade gifts. Children can try the Great Christmas Mash Up picture hunt, which has a tasty prize. Saturday’s music comes from The Christmas Bells; Sunday brings Wight Harmony and Double Take. Goddards Bar & Kitchen serves seasonal food and drinks upstairs, so you can decide whether to add something to eat to your visit.

The craft stalls open from 11am to 4pm on both days. Check the separate music programme if there is an act you want to hear, as Saturday’s advertised performance continues beyond the craft fair’s closing time. Entry is free, leaving you to choose what to spend on food, drink or gifts. For a craft fair outing with a friend, a partner or the children, start with one or two people you would like to buy for and leave some time for the music too.
