DUZZ Ghoul Tickling brings Halloween live music to The Veteran Pub and Hotel on Friday 30 October. The band wants you in fancy dress for three hours at the Esplanade pub in Ryde, from 8.30pm to 11.30pm. It is a night for getting the costume out the evening before Halloween itself.
DUZZ promises ghoulies, ghosties and Duzzies screaming and wailing, which sets the tone: very noisy. Fancy dress is part of the invitation, so turn up in costume and you are in on it. The venue is the Veteran at 15 Esplanade, near the Ryde waterfront. The Veteran Craft Lounge on the High Street is a different place, which matters when you are telling friends where to meet. The Veteran describes itself as a pub that supports the local community and their families, with specific support for veterans, so it has a local role as well as a stage.
No admission price or ticket link has been given. Ask the pub or DUZZ about entry before you set out, and don’t assume it’s free just because no price is listed.
