Hammock Time & Macramé Angels combines woodland rest with Christmas making at Haylands Farm in Ryde on Sunday 22 November. Island CraftWorks CIC and Hammock Time host the two-hour session from noon to 2pm, with ten places at £30 each. You can spend time in a hammock, take part in guided meditation and make a macramé angel around the campfire. It’s a small-group Isle of Wight craft afternoon outdoors on Salters Road.
All materials for the angel-making are included, along with hot drinks and a sweet treat. The £30 covers the stated craft supplies as well as the hosted session. Leave the full two hours for hammock time and the macramé craft workshop, with a campfire in the programme. If you haven’t tried macramé before, ask Island CraftWorks what the activity involves. The announcement sets no skill level.
Ask the organisers for clothing advice and poor-weather arrangements for a November woodland afternoon, and tell them about any food requirements. The hot drinks and sweet treat are specified, but dietary choices are a question to ask. Reserve the 22 November date through the booking service and confirm the arrival instructions for Haylands Farm. No meeting point appears in the announcement, so ask where to meet on the farm.
