New Year’s Eve at the Prince of Wales

See in 2027 at the Prince of Wales in East Cowes, with a live band playing 50s–80s hits and a buffet included.

New Year’s Eve at the Prince of Wales brings a live band and buffet to East Cowes for the change from 2026 to 2027. Gather friends for a pub party built around songs from the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s. You have a clear evening plan, with music and food together, instead of trying to arrange several stops around midnight.

The band plays hits from across those four decades, giving different generations of your group something familiar to hear. The £10 ticket includes the buffet. The organiser has not named the band or published a buffet menu, so ask the pub about any food requirements before you buy. Tickets became available on 30 October, and the party runs from 9pm until 1am. It continues past midnight into New Year’s Day; the after-midnight hours belong to the same celebration.

The Prince of Wales is on York Avenue in East Cowes. Contact the pub on 01983 292843 for tickets and current availability, then decide how everyone will get home after the music finishes. Share the venue and end time when you invite friends so nobody has to piece the details together later. This could be a local evening with people you know or a chance to get a small group out together.
