The second Out of the Shadows session returns to The Stag in Newport for the last two and a half hours of Portraits by Fleur’s leopard pastel workshop. It follows the opening class on 29 September and is part of the same £40 booking. Bring the project back to the table and use the extra evening to work the animal up against its dark background without rushing the finish.
All abilities are welcome and the organiser supplies the equipment. The full course is five hours across two Tuesdays, so this isn’t a separate one-night paint event. Book the course in advance through Portraits by Fleur. The published terms say refunds aren’t available. If you missed the first evening, contact the organiser. Don’t assume this date can be booked on its own.
Tuesday 6 October runs from 6pm to 8.30pm at the Cowes Road pub. Arrive with time to settle before work resumes, especially if your piece needs unpacking or arranging at the table. The same leopard picture stays at the centre of both sessions. Among Newport’s arts and craft workshops, this one has the breathing space of a return visit. The fee covers both dates and all five teaching hours. It isn’t £40 for each evening.
