Storm play the Sunday Live afternoon at The Waterfront on 14 June, which is mid-June and often one of the better weeks of the year on the Isle of Wight in terms of weather and light. The promenade at Totland Bay faces west, so late afternoon sun hits the terrace directly, and the Solent in June has a particular flat clarity that the sea holds for only a few weeks a year.
Storm are a covers act with range: the set covers rock, pop, and soul across the three hours in a way that keeps the energy present without becoming relentless. The Sunday Live series at The Waterfront is built around the idea that good live music and a Sunday afternoon by the sea do not need to be complicated or expensive, and Storm deliver on both counts. No booking, free entry, food available throughout.
