The Geckos return for the bank holiday Sunday on 30 August at The Waterfront in Totland Bay, which is one of the most popular afternoons in the entire Sunday Live season. Bank holiday weekends bring people out in numbers, and the western end of the island offers space and light that the busier tourist spots cannot. The Geckos close out August with a full-band set that builds through the afternoon and carries the season out in good order.
