Wildheart Wonderland

Wildheart Wonderland’s Friday evening brings Melodic Choir and Ruby to Sandown, alongside illuminations, LED shows, aerial silks and roaming performances at the sanctuary.

Wildheart Wonderland opens at Wildheart Animal Sanctuary in Sandown on Friday 4 December, from 5pm to 7.30pm. Melodic Choir and Ruby make up Friday’s named music programme, with Ruby performing festive acoustic music. The sanctuary on Yaverland Road hosts the event after dark, with illuminations and live entertainment for a Christmas evening. Come on this date for those two Friday acts: the Saturday programme has different choir and acoustic performers.

The New Carnival Company contributes light installations and roaming performances, while StixGuy Kai and Azaria present LED shows. Here Comes Treble is in the programme, and Jaydene Lee Arts performs aerial silks. Local traders sell food, and there’s an advertised firepit to warm up beside. No act-by-act timetable has been published, so allow the whole two and a half hours if you want time for the performances as well as the lights.

Adult tickets cost £15, children’s tickets £10 and Wildheart members’ tickets £7.50; under-threes enter free. Event parking is free during the evening. Check the ticket category for each person, and book Friday if you’re coming for Melodic Choir and Ruby’s live festive music. Dress for time outdoors on the Isle of Wight in December. Read the event terms, and ask about separate daytime admission if you’d like an animal visit as well.
