xDireCTory bring their live set to Ryde Town Club for a late Friday booking. The club setting keeps the band near the audience and leaves the evening feeling more like a local night out than a formal concert. It should suit people who want a full set after the working week, with the bar and the social side of the room remaining part of the experience.
The advertised time is 9pm to 11.45pm on Friday 11 September. Entry terms are not clear in the public post, and Ryde Town Club is normally a members’ club, so confirm whether guests need tickets, membership or advance names before setting out. If seating matters, contact the venue rather than assuming chairs will be available near the performance area. Bring proof of age if you plan to use the bar.
This is one of the later choices in the week’s music listings. Star Street is uphill from Ryde Esplanade, which is worth allowing for when timing the walk from ferry, bus or rail connections. Last services may leave before the advertised finish, so arrange the return journey in advance. The Facebook event should be checked on the day for changes to admission, stage time or access, while the club website carries its contact details.
