Lift Ryde

Lift Ryde is the school on Pell Lane in Ryde, also known by its former name, Ryde Academy. Its premises host some advertised community and performance events outside the ordinary school programme. If you are coming for a show, use the event organiser’s instructions to identify the entrance and arrival time rather than treating the whole school site as open to visitors.

The Pell Lane location appears on tickets for events such as Outcast Pro Wrestling’s live shows. Those are independent bookings with their own admission, audience arrangements and start times. A ticket to one programme does not include another event at the same venue, and a separate pre-show may have its own entry. Keep the dated event confirmation handy when you travel so you can check the correct room, organiser and ticket type on arrival.

The school’s official contact address is Pell Lane, Ryde, PO33 3LN. That is the postcode to use when planning the journey; an event ticket page has also shown a different postcode for the same named site. Confirm parking, access and collection arrangements with the organiser for your particular event, especially if you are bringing children or need step-free access. This is a working school, so normal school access rules apply outside the arrangements for an advertised public event. For a concert, show or other visit, check the latest organiser notice before setting off.
