Blue Light Fight Night brings amateur boxing to GG’s on Staplers Road in Newport on Saturday 7 November. Fire and Police join forces as a Blue Light team to face the Prison Service in the ring. Doors open at 6.30pm, the first bout is at 7.30pm and the advertised finish is 11.30pm. The night raises money for Kissy Puppy - The Sophie Rolf Trust and The Wight Brainy Bunch, two charities supporting Isle of Wight families.
General admission costs £25, booking fee included. For a group, the VIP option is £600 for a ringside table of ten, fee and table service included. That £600 covers the whole table. Decide which arrangement suits your group before booking. This is amateur boxing, so keep it apart from the kickboxing shows at the same venue when you’re sharing the date with friends.
Admission is for adults aged 18 and over. Doors open an hour before the opening bout, so arrive early if you want to be seated before the boxing starts. The Wight Brainy Bunch supports island families affected by brain tumours, while Kissy Puppy supports children and families facing serious illness. That fundraising runs alongside this amateur boxing night, with emergency-service and prison-service teams providing the match-up. Book ahead and agree your ticket option with anyone joining you.
