East Cowes Esplanade near Shoreside Café is an outdoor landmark on the waterfront in East Cowes. The Ring of Red motorcycle ride has named this stretch as its starting point. The café stands on the Esplanade at PO32 6AD. Its name is the quickest way to tell friends which stretch of seafront you mean, and a map search for it lands you in the right place. The group gathers outdoors beside the café, not inside it.
The town council provides picnic benches and green areas around this part of the Esplanade, with toilets close by and a paddling pool. The pool closes for winter, while a group might meet here at any time of year. On a free afternoon you could bring a picnic and sit by the water, which is what the benches are for. For the wider seafront, East Cowes Esplanade covers the waterfront beyond this one landmark.
Use Shoreside Café as your landmark and follow the organiser’s instructions about where to gather. Check the event’s assembly time before travelling, and allow a few minutes to find your group. It is an outdoor meeting point, so wrap up for a wait by the water. Bring water with you if you will need a drink; the café’s opening hours are separate from event arrangements.
