The late session on 14 June at Northwood House in Cowes extends the David Morales event past midnight and through to 1am. This is the session for the people who do not want the night to close at twelve: an additional hour of Morales at the more exploratory, stripped-back end of his house music range, in the grounds of a Georgian mansion overlooking the Medina.
Late-night additions to outdoor DJ events at historic venues are rare on the island, and the Northwood House setting holds the format well: the grounds give enough space for the music to sit without becoming oppressive in the early hours, and the Cowes harbour is close enough that the walk back has its own quality. Morales at this hour tends to move away from the vocal-led anthems of the main set and into deeper, longer mixes. Whether that counts as a reward or a separate experience depends on what you are looking for.
