Northwood House Christmas Fair

Browse local gifts and produce at Northwood House Christmas Fair in Cowes, with free admission, live music, seasonal food and a Father Christmas meet-and-greet for children.

Presented by Northwood House Charitable Trust

Northwood House Christmas Fair brings local gifts, art, craft and produce to Northwood House in Cowes. Up to 50 exhibitors will take part, with stalls inside the house and outside in the grounds. You can start your Christmas shopping by talking to the people behind the work, choosing presents and stopping for something warm to eat. The main fair is free to enter on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November.

Children can meet Father Christmas in the snow cave, write him a letter and give it to him in person. Parents can take photographs, and children need an accompanying adult for the visit. The Rotunda Courtyard hosts live music across both days, with mulled cider and other drinks available. The Christmas Café serves seasonal treats in the lawn marquee, while So Much Dough brings wood-fired pizzas. Dogs can also meet Santa Paws for a £4 charitable donation, with owners taking their own photographs and dogs receiving a treat and gift.

The fair opens from 10am to 4.30pm each day. Use the Park Road pay-and-display car park and walk up via Ward Avenue; the organisers close the Rotunda car park to vehicles for the event. Leave time for shopping and the children's visit rather than arriving at the end of the afternoon. Stalls span indoor and outdoor areas, so dress for the weather. The island's creative fairs and markets offer more chances to buy from local makers in the run-up to Christmas.
