Deadpool Rob & Friends Fundraising Walk

Rob Munt leads a flat evening fundraising walk from Ryde Bus Station to Appley Tower and back for Breast Cancer Now, with fancy dress welcome.

Presented by Rob Munt

Deadpool Rob and friends return for their yearly Breast Cancer Now walk, meeting at Ryde Bus Station at 6pm and heading along a flat route to Appley Tower and back. Rob Munt frames it as attempt two of an annual tradition: raise money, hand out flyers, walk with friends and family, and keep the pace human rather than competitive.

Ryde Esplanade is a sensible start point. Buses, trains and the hovercraft all land nearby, so supporters can join without a car. The route description emphasises no rush and no time limit, which opens the walk to mixed fitness levels and to children who treat Appley Park as a destination in its own right. Cosplay and fancy dress are encouraged but optional, and there is no entry fee, so the barrier is simply turning up.

This belongs with walking events on the Isle of Wight that double as fundraisers. Bring a donation mindset, water for a warm July evening, and a layer for sea breeze along the front. If you want a low-pressure community evening that still feels purposeful, this is the sort of event where the chat matters as much as the mileage.
