Session two of Sip and Paint at The White Horse Inn falls on Tuesday 14 July, again from 10.30am to 12.30pm. It completes the piglet pastel course that begins on 7 July, with the same step-by-step tuition and all materials supplied at the table in the pub.
The £35 charge covers both mornings, so this session is for people who booked the full course rather than newcomers dropping in for one class. If you missed session one, contact portraitsbyfleur on 07875150810 before assuming there is space. By the second morning you should have the basics in place and more time to refine the piglet portrait. Optional frames may be available to buy after the second morning, subject to availability, if you want to take the finished piece home properly presented.
The pub room keeps the class sheltered if the July weather turns, and Whitwell is a pleasant south Wight village to linger in once you have packed away your pastels. You might walk down towards the coast afterwards if the sun is out, or stop for a relaxed lunch at the inn before heading home. For other workshops and creative classes, see arts and crafts events on the Isle of Wight.
