The Jive Aces return to Bembridge Coast Hotel on Saturday 30 May for a two-hour evening of swing and rock 'n' roll, starting at 9:30pm. The hotel sits on Fishermans Walk at the quieter eastern end of the island, set in 23 acres of grounds above the shore, and headline entertainment is a core part of the Warner Hotels format rather than something bolted on.
The band carry credentials that go well beyond a local circuit. They were the first live band to reach the Britain's Got Talent semi-finals, earned 'absolutely brilliant' from Simon Cowell, and have since headlined the Royal Albert Hall, toured across thirty countries and performed for the Queen. Their viral 'Bring Me Sunshine' has two million YouTube views. The show is built for movement rather than passive listening, and this is a return visit to the Bembridge Coast rather than a debut.
Bembridge Coast is an adults-only Warner Hotels property, so children under 18 cannot attend. Admission is to be confirmed and booking is required. If you are coming from elsewhere on the island, Bembridge has the harbour, the lifeboat station and the downland above Culver to make a day of it before the show. For other live evenings across the island this season, the Isle of Wight music listings have current events.
