The complete Dark Side of the Moon and the complete Wish You Were Here in a single evening at Shanklin Theatre on 12 June is a serious proposition. Think Floyd are not a tribute act in the karaoke sense: their reputation rests on technical fidelity to albums that are famously difficult to reproduce live, with correct keyboard textures, the guitar tones from Pulse and Delicate Sound of Thunder, and an immersive laser show that reflects the original productions.
Pink Floyd's two most complete albums back to back give the evening a specific shape: Dark Side is dense, tightly sequenced, and structurally inseparable; Wish You Were Here is more open and elegiac. Playing both is a statement that Think Floyd can hold an audience through music that rewards close listening rather than just recognition.
