The July Yoga, Sound Bath & Reiki session returns to Wildheart Animal Sanctuary for a small early morning gathering in Sandown. It combines grounding yoga, a restorative sound bath, Reiki and aromatherapy, so it suits a Sunday when you want the day to begin before the beach crowds and family logistics take over. This is the second session in the organiser's summer series at the sanctuary.
Elle leads a calming yoga session designed to suit all abilities, then the group slows into sound and Reiki work. The organiser lists a welcome juice shot on arrival, a wellbeing gift and hand-blended herbal tea at the end. There are only 20 places, and advance booking is required, which keeps it closer to a small retreat morning than a drop-in class.
Arrive at 8:20am for a prompt start. Take a yoga mat, blanket, any pillows or cushions you need, water and warm clothing for the quieter part of the session. If the weather turns, the organiser plans to use the bear lookout. Anyone with tinnitus, epilepsy, sound sensitivity, metal implants, a pacemaker, recent surgery, a heart condition or unmanaged mental health condition should speak to the organiser before booking.
