More in things to do near Freshwater and our Isle of Wight things to do guide.
Freshwater Memorial Hall hosts concerts, theatre and community activities on Avenue Road in Freshwater, opposite the Co-op. You can come for a performance or book space for a celebration, meeting or activity of your own. The main hall seats more than two hundred people and has a stage, so an evening here can mean a full audience gathering around a live performance rather than a small back-room event.
The hall’s facilities include stage lighting and sound equipment, three dressing rooms and a kitchen with a servery. A smaller hall includes a bar and French doors leading to a patio, while other rooms accommodate meetings and conferences. Those different spaces give organisers options for concerts, private parties or a group that needs less room. The hall states that all areas have disabled access and toilets; discuss your own requirements with the team when planning a booking or attending an event.
There is a small car park at the hall and a larger public car park within a hundred metres. Leave time to find a space before a performance, since the hall’s own parking is limited. For a visit, follow the particular event’s ticket, arrival and seating information. For hire, contact the administrator on 01983 752956 to check room availability, current rates and which facilities your booking includes. The address is Avenue Road, Freshwater, PO40 9UU.
