Isle of Wight Community Club

Isle of Wight Community Club is a members’ club on Park Road in Cowes that also welcomes visitors. Formerly the Plessey Club, it brings together drinks, sports, regular groups and social events in one community venue. You can call in for a drink, attend a listed activity or ask about joining if you want to make more use of the club.

The clubhouse has a function room available for parties, weddings and other booked occasions. Its kitchen opens on selected days and evenings, with catering also available for functions. The club shows live televised sport and has playing fields used for its own sports programme. That mix makes it useful for a range of plans, from watching a match to meeting a group or organising a celebration. Food service and activity times follow their own timetables rather than the bar’s full opening hours.

Check the club’s current programme before making a special trip for an event, and contact the team about visitor arrangements or membership benefits. You will find the address listed as Park Road, Cowes, PO31 7NP. The club notes that staff may close early when it is quiet, so confirm if you are arriving late. For a workshop, sports session or private function, use the organiser’s booking details and start time. A quick enquiry about food, access or the room you need can make it easier to bring a group together.
