Creationz Dance Academy CIC runs the CDA Halloween Community Disco at Waverley Park Holiday Centre in East Cowes on Saturday 31 October. Expect music, dancing, Halloween games and a best-dressed competition. Bring your friends and family, dress up and come ready to join in. The invitation goes to local families, friends and neighbours, and you don’t have to belong to the dance academy to come.
The disco runs from 5pm to 7.30pm, an early-evening slot that suits families. Costumes count, since the best-dressed competition has prizes. You don’t need to be a dancer and there is no membership. Creationz promises plenty of spooky fun. The organiser suggests a £2 donation per person, so sort out the change for your group before you leave. Leave time for the games if that is what the children are looking forward to.
Waverley Park Holiday Centre is at 51 Old Road, East Cowes, PO32 6AW. It is a family-run holiday park offering caravan holidays and camping, but the disco is for the whole community. Plan your trip home around the 7.30pm finish, especially if Halloween means more than one stop. For specific access or attendance questions, contact Creationz. Earlier in the day, the family events programme has other school-holiday activities.
