Cowes Picnic in the Park returns to Northwood House for a free community afternoon on the lawns. The event mixes live music, charity stalls, children's entertainment, food and drink, and a very dog-friendly atmosphere within easy reach of central Cowes.
The Family Fun Arena is the main draw for children, with free games, races, crafts, storytelling and dance activities planned through the afternoon. The Lawn Stage runs from midday to 5.30pm, while the Tea Garden, Lawn Bar and food traders give families a reason to linger rather than rush between activities.
The Fun Dog Show gives the afternoon its own character, with classes from 2pm and entries from midday. It is one of the strongest community events in the Cowes summer calendar, but it is an outdoor park event, so check the forecast and expect the lawns to shape the day.
