The hunt runs from 4pm to 5.30pm on Friday 11 September. It is designed as a family activity and advance booking is required through Planet Aware. Dress for an exposed beach rather than the weather inland: a windproof layer, sturdy footwear and clothes that can cope with sand or spray will be useful. The ground is uneven in places, and the group may move along the shoreline during the search.
