Baby Development Course: First Session starts at Whippingham Community Hall on Friday 6 November, from noon to 1pm. Sandra from Tots Play Isle of Wight welcomes babies aged 0–6 months and their parents to the first meeting of a six-week course. The hall is on Alverstone Road in Whippingham, near East Cowes. Book with the organiser, and look at the full set of dates before you set the following weeks aside.
Over the course, Sandra covers baby massage and gentle yoga, tummy time and sensory activities. Parents also explore early communication and signing, with ideas to try at home, and there’s time to talk with other parents at a similar stage. Those are the subjects planned across six weeks; the announcement doesn’t allocate each one to a particular Friday. If you’d like to know what to expect before bringing your baby, ask Sandra what happens in the first session.
Sandra says feeding, cuddles and changes are part of attending with a baby, and there’s no pressure for your child to join in throughout. Ask about that approach when you book your first parent-and-baby class. Places are limited and booking is required. Before paying, ask Tots Play for the total course price, what to bring and the remaining dates. The announcement confirms this first Friday’s hour but gives no dated timetable for all six meetings.
