Halloween Pottery starts the half-term week with a two-hour morning session at Isle of Wight Pottery in Freshwater. Adults and children can try the pottery wheel, paint and make spooky clay creations. No previous experience is needed. The £27.50 price includes glazing and firing, so the work carries on through the studio process after the session ends.
The class runs from 10am to noon on Monday 19 October. Booking is required through the studio’s Holiday Time Clay Club calendar. A separate class starts at 2pm on the same date, so choose the morning slot when booking. Families get a focused indoor activity before lunch, and adults can book without bringing a child. Isle of Wight Pottery is at 21 School Green Road in Freshwater. A noon finish leaves the afternoon free, which helps if younger makers have concentration for one project but not a full day indoors. It’s a proper children’s activity as well as an arts and craft workshop, and the wheel and Halloween theme give it more shape than an unstructured craft table. Reserve the 10am slot. Don’t assume both sessions share one booking.
