Mystic Markets Halloween takes over The Riverside Centre in Newport on Saturday 31 October, from 10am to 4pm. Isle of Wight Mystic Markets & Makers invites you to browse magical stalls, with food and drink on sale through the day. The Quay venue makes this a daytime Halloween date, so you can visit first and sort the evening afterwards. The organiser also promises photo opportunities and magic.
The Halloween theme is the main thing to go on when deciding whether to come. Take your time over what the stallholders bring, but if you’re after a particular maker or product, ask the organiser: the announcement names no traders and gives no performance timetable. The same goes for children. No children’s programme or craft workshops have been announced, so ask what’s planned before bringing them along.
The Riverside Centre stands beside Newport Harbour on The Quay. Six hours is plenty for browsing the seasonal craft market, though any timed activity needs confirming with the organiser. No entry price appears in the announcement, so check admission before you travel. If you’re fitting the visit around lunch, ask what food and drink is on offer, and keep workshop plans on hold until the organiser says what you can join.
