The December Tots Play Intergenerational Session at Springfield Nursing Home in Shanklin takes a Christmas theme on Monday 14 December. Babies from eight weeks to children aged four join some of the residents for a small shared session. Sandra from Tots Play Isle of Wight leads it, with snowballs added for Christmas. These sessions are relaxed, for any tot from eight weeks to four years.
Expect musical instruments, stretching with props, parachute play and bubble popping, and this time snowballs too. Numbers stay small because of the space, and so as not to overwhelm the residents or the tots. Booking tells the team who is coming, so reserve this dated session before you set off with your child. You can book the November session as well if you want to join both.
The session runs from 2.30pm to 3.15pm, and booking costs £3. Use the booking link for 14 December, not the separate one for the November session.
