Warren Farm

A family-run working farm near Alum Bay and the Needles, with farm shop, local produce, events space and west Wight scenery.

Warren Farm sits in Alum Bay near the Needles, with a working farm, self-service farm shop, function space and west Wight scenery all wrapped into one rural stop. It suits walkers, families, local-produce hunters and anyone who wants the Needles side of the island to feel less like a quick photo call. From Totland Bay, it is close enough to turn a coast visit into something fuller.

The farm is run by the Osman family and covers around 300 acres between Headon Warren and West High Down. Its shop sells Warren Farm meat, Jersey milk, eggs, homemade preserves, gifts and simple drinks or snacks, which makes it a useful pit stop rather than a full restaurant plan. The event side gives the place another role, with barn, garden and marquee options for gatherings, classes and weddings.

Warren Farm pairs well with Totland Pier, Alum Bay, Headon Warren and Fort Victoria Country Park if you are stretching a west Wight day. Check farm shop and event details before travelling, and expect rural practicalities: lanes, weather, walking shoes and a slower pace than the main visitor routes.

It is also handy when you want to take visitors somewhere local before or after the Needles crowds.
