Artisan Fair at Quarr Abbey (Friday)

Quarr Abbey’s three-day Artisan Fair opens on Friday with more than 25 island makers in the marquee, free to enter.

Presented by Quarr Abbey

The Artisan Fair at Quarr Abbey opens on Friday 3 July with more than 25 island artisans selling in the abbey marquee. Stalls cover soaps, honey, prints, fudge, ceramics, candles, woodwork and the kind of handmade pieces you rarely find on a High Street. Entry is free, with parking on site and the abbey grounds open for a summer wander between stalls.

Friday runs 10am to 5pm, with Saturday matching those hours and Sunday opening at 11am. Quarr sits between Fishbourne and Ryde on the north coast, tucked behind trees most drivers pass without stopping. The fair gives you a reason to slow down: browse the marquee, walk the grounds, then decide whether to stay for tea or explore the woodland paths around the estate.

Book online if the abbey asks for tickets, though recent posts describe free entry. For more arts and craft fairs on the Isle of Wight and community events, Quarr’s summer programme celebrates island makers across the three-day fair in the marquee.
