Spooktacular at Robin Hill sends you into the Downend woods for a Halloween evening of trick-or-treating and family activities. Follow the scare route through darkened woodland, with characters, lighting and sound effects along the way. Come in costume if you want to join the fancy dress fun. The event runs on three nights, giving you a choice of 28, 29 or 30 October for an Isle of Wight outing after dark.
The Halloween Party Tent has a DJ, dancing, games, competitions and circus skills, so the evening carries on after the woodland trail. Children can take part in pumpkin painting and other Halloween activities. The Colour Powder Arena adds a messy element, with one pouch included per ticket. Robin Hill also advertises a drone show at 8.30pm, subject to the weather. Food, snacks, treats and Halloween-themed mocktails are available during the evening, giving you a chance to stop before heading back into the activities.
Each night runs from 5pm to 9pm. Tickets cost £16.99 plus a booking fee, and Robin Hill members can use the advertised FRIGHT20 code for a 20% discount. Book the date you want and check the current ticket terms before travelling. Wear clothes and footwear that suit an outdoor October evening and the colour powder activities; the party tent provides only part of the experience. The island's children's activity programme has more options if you are planning several outings around Halloween.
