Royal Isle of Wight County Show 2026

The Royal Isle of Wight County Show takes place at Northwood on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July 2026.

Presented by Royal Isle of Wight Agricultural Society

Royal Isle of Wight County Show brings the Island’s rural life to the Isle of Wight County Showground at Northwood. The 2026 show runs across Saturday and Sunday, with published opening times split between the two days. Expect livestock, local food, makers, a food pavilion, a fun dog show, arts and craft areas and the kind of showground bustle that gives children something new every few minutes.

The official information lists early-bird adult day tickets at £12.50, with under-16s free when they come with a paying adult. That makes it one of the more practical full-day outings for families, especially if you need grandparents, children and adults to find different things without leaving the same site. Dogs are welcome on leads, so the family plan does not have to exclude the dog.

This belongs firmly in family events, but it is also a community day for people who care about Island food, farms and local makers. Bring water, check the weather, and let the arena timings shape the day. Northwood sits between Newport and Cowes, so plan the route before the morning rush and leave more time than you think for parking. The day feels better when nobody is trying to see every stand.
