GE Memorial Evening Party 2026

The Gordon Endler Memorial Evening Party brings live music and a community gathering to Sandown Airport on Saturday 4 July, raising funds for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

Presented by GE Memorial Ride and Show

The GE Memorial Evening Party is the new public-facing evening element of the Gordon Endler Memorial Ride and Show, taking place at Sandown Airport on Saturday 4 July from 4pm until 10pm. In 2026 the annual memorial expands into a two-day weekend format for the first time, with the evening party bringing live music and a community gathering to the east Wight airfield - open to everyone, whether they ride or not.

Gordon Endler was a biker from Arreton who died in a road traffic incident in July 2020. His partner, Jacqui Stannett, survived thanks to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, who airlifted her to Southampton General Hospital - and the air ambulance has been at the heart of the event's fundraising mission ever since. Organised by Jon Flexi and Pippa Ellis of Solent 1990s Sportsbikes, the annual ride has attracted over a hundred bikes in its best years, drawing supporters from both the island and the mainland.

No advance booking is needed - just turn up from 4pm. Weekend camping is available on site if you want to make a full occasion of it. Admission pricing is still to be confirmed, so it is worth checking back closer to the date. Sandown has parking at the airfield itself, and the town is easy to reach from most parts of the island.
