Lounge Aid Trading Card Show

Trade cards and browse independent vendors at Correo Lounge in Newport, where LoungeAid entry fees and a raffle support Friends of the Animals.

LoungeAid Trading Card Show at Correo Lounge brings Newport’s card collectors together for a day of browsing, swapping and comparing collections. You can come with a list of cards you are hunting, bring a collection to trade or have a look at a hobby that has caught your children’s interest. The show also raises money for Friends of the Animals, an Isle of Wight charity supporting animals in need.

Independent vendors will bring trading cards and related collectibles, with Pokémon, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering among the games represented. Expect sealed products, graded cards, sports and collectible cards, accessories, artwork and memorabilia. Collectors can bring their own cards to trade, giving you a chance to meet other enthusiasts as well as look through the stalls. Both experienced collectors and people new to the hobby are welcome.

The show runs from 10am to 3pm at Correo on Newport High Street, so you can make it a focused visit or leave time to browse. Entry costs £2 per person, with entrance fees donated to Friends of the Animals through the LoungeAid fundraiser. A charity raffle also forms part of the day. Agree a spending limit if you are bringing young collectors, and keep purchases separate from the admission budget. It is a community get-together built around a shared interest and an Island cause.
