Midsummer Steam & Sound at Camp Wight pairs Spirit Sauna's Aufguss ritual with an immersive gong and sound bath from Echo Me Sound Therapy in a west Wight woodland setting. Heat, aroma and rhythm in the sauna, optional cold plunge, then symphonic gongs, crystal bowls and chimes: a midsummer afternoon built to slow your nervous system down rather than hype it up.
The session runs 2pm to 4.30pm on Saturday 27 June with a snack and drink in the break between sound and sauna. No prior experience is needed for either part; sound therapy is passive, and the sauna team guide the Aufguss ceremony. Camp Wight on Ningwood Hill near Yarmouth gives it a secluded west Wight feel, worth the drive if you want woodland rather than a spa strip mall. Pack a towel and flip flops for the sauna segment.
